1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any Lucent services, including the PRism browser extension and web platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Lucent provides AI-powered developer tools. PRism is a browser extension and web dashboard that automatically generates pull request and merge request descriptions using artificial intelligence. The service analyzes code diffs and generates structured descriptions based on your selected template.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- Each person may only maintain one account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
PRism offers the following subscription plans:
- Free: ₹0/month — 5 generations per month
- Pro: ₹249/month — 50 generations per month
- Max: ₹1,199/month — unlimited generations
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew via Razorpay. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and may be subject to applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
5. Usage Limits
Each plan includes a specific number of AI generations per month. Usage resets at the start of each billing period. Unused generations do not carry over. We reserve the right to enforce fair use policies to prevent abuse of the service.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automation, scripts, or bots to bypass usage limits
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
- Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the service
- Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
7. Intellectual Property
Your content: you retain full ownership of the PR/MR descriptions and content generated through the service. You are free to use, modify, and distribute your generated content without restriction.
Our platform: the Lucent platform, PRism extension, branding, design, and underlying technology are owned by Lucent and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Content generated by PRism is provided "as-is" and is intended to assist — not replace — your own judgment. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated content before use. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated output.
9. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Lucent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability for any claim arising from the service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
10. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@getlucent.dev
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with reasonable notice when possible
- Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
